T.V. Mohandas Pai
Co-Founder & Chairman, Aarin Capital
Mohandas Pai is a versatile leader with 37 years of experience in areas like finance, accounting, IT, HR, education, corporate governance, social impact innovation, and policy formulation.
Mohan is currently the Chairman of Aarin Capital and SEBI’s Regulatory and Financial Technology Committee. He is also a Member of the Boards of Havells India, the Institute of Public Enterprises, and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF).
Moreover, he serves as a Governing Council Member of the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (CAFRAL) promoted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Mohan was previously a Board Member and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Infosys for 17+ years. He had also been an Investment Committee Member of the SIDBI India Aspiration Fund, a Board Member of NSE, and the President of the All-India Management Association (AIMA).
Mohan was awarded the Padma Shri Award by the President of India in 2015 and the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award in 2008.
Timelines
Eligibility criteria
- Ingenium is open to all B.E / B.Tech. and Dual Degree final year, pre-final year engineering students in India. All you need is a passion for engineering and creativity that reflects in your project.
- Students graduating in 2024 and 2025 are encouraged to participate without restriction in engineering disciplines.

Selection Process –
Stage 1 – Registration
Team to complete their registration by submitting an abstract. After qualifying the plagiarism checks, a panel of experts will review each team’s submissions. Based on the quality of the abstracts, the top 30 projects will be shortlisted.
Stage 2 – POC / Prototype Presentation (Virtual)
The top 30 teams will virtually present their prototype / PoC to a panel. Out of these top 30 teams, 10 will be shortlisted for the Grand finale.
Stage 3 – Grand Finale
In the grand finale, each team will have to make a presentation after their video is played to the panel, followed by a Q&A session. Based on the presentation, video, and overall technical content, the top 3 teams will be selected by the panel of experts.
